Christians, don't be an uptight Christian

Christians, Don’t be an Uptight Christian

I have had different stories of people who were once Christians and then something happened along the line that led them to leave the Faith.

Some were serious soul winners, pastors and have had a series of encounters with God yet one thing led to another and they left.

I began asking myself what could have happened? Where did they go wrong? I can tell you that the source of it all is not being rooted and grounded in God and His word.

Children are very inquisitive which could be a good thing especially when it comes to religion. When they ask questions please don’t shut them up, if you have the answer, just explain it to them in terms they understand if not, you could refer them to someone who knows.

Most Christians suffer from what they shouldn’t because of a lack of knowledge. They think God is mean and that you have to do something hard in order to please Him. Some Christians are so religious that they have little knowledge of who God is.

I would like to point out that being religious does not equal having a healthy relationship with God.

Some people are so religious and this leads to their frustration. The devil uses their ignorance of what truly belongs to them in Christ against them.

The more knowledge you get in the word of God, the more your light begins to shine and the easier it becomes for you to pass through challenges in life easily.

People go for the spectacular and miss the supernatural.

Walking with God every day in your daily life is supernatural and not ordinary, receiving the revelation in God’s word is supernatural.

What to know about Christianity

The basis of Christianity is personally having a relationship with God.

It’s not going to church and putting up a holier than thou attitude when you have no relationship with God or when you are not truly His but having a fun-filled relationship with God, knowing what pleases Him and doing it.

Some may even think you are an unbeliever because you are not as religious as they believe you should.

The people that really enjoy the God-kind of life are those who have searched for God in His word, developed a longing to know Him more and have acquired this through Christian books, sermons, the Bible.

These people also know the principles that God operates with, they work by these principles and see results each time they engage them.

They are not confused, if they want something, they know exactly how to get it. They are also patient and obedient to what God tells them at each point in time.

Final note for Christians

Finally, I came to the conclusion that those that are not rooted and grounded in God can easily fall to the prey of the devil.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and I’ll love to hear from you.

Stay Blessed.

Chidinma.
