What is the capacity of Faith? How wide is Faith? Faith is unlimited and has the capacity for growth. I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4: 13) is how wide faith is.
Faith in God makes you do all things, ALL things are possible for them to believe (Mark 9: 23). Why aren’t we seeing mighty miracles happening in our midst? Because we have not played our part in growing our Faith to that level.
How do we grow our Faith?
By meditating on the word of God regularly, reading anointed books, listening to anointed tapes. If there is any area in your life that is of concern to you be it Health, Finance, Academics, Marriage, Business, Addiction, fear of the unknown etc. Find out what God says concerning that area, meditate on it and let this help in the growth of your Faith.
Healing
Bible passages to meditate on healing are Isaiah 53: 4, Matthew 8: 17. In these passages, we see how Jesus took our infirmities even before we were born. All we need to do is take our healing back by staying away from sin and growing our spiritual hand i.e Faith in order to receive our healing.
Others ways include; listening to Christian tapes on healing, plugging into the testimonies of others who have been through similar situations and came out victorious. Unfortunately, some people believe they are the only ones passing through a particular health challenge but the truth is, there are some others who have passed through what you are passing through and have come out victorious.
Look for these people, ask them how they were able to build their faith up in receiving their healing. As you follow in their stead, you will also receive yours because it is to you according to your Faith ( Matthew 9: 29) and the just shall live by faith (Romans 1: 17, Galatians 3: 11, Hebrews 10: 38).
God is ever faithful, He is not a man that He should lie. If something is not working well in our lives, the problem is with us and not God.
There is always a part for you and me to play regarding God’s promise for us and the basis for this happening requires Love and Faith. All things work by Love including Faith, Prayer, giving etc. Faith is the only way to receive things from the Spiritual realm into the physical realm.
We are spiritual beings and the only reason why we can operate on earth is because of our bodies which is like a container that we happen to have control over (this is where the will of man comes into play). It is also good to remember that we will be judged according to how we use our bodies either for something bad or good.
Once the body is out, we no longer have any will neither can we control what happens around us. God is a Spirit and the only way to communicate with God is through your spirit man (the real you). It is therefore important to know how to operate both in the physical and spiritual realm. Be spiritually minded.
Back to our topic, There is something you must do in order for God to fulfil His promise. There is a part that must be played by you. For example, to receive your healing you need to build your Faith and this Faith has to be rooted in Love.
Fruitfulness
Let’s see what, Exodus 23: 25- 26 tells us concerning fruitfulness.
25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
It talks about fruitfulness, not being barren nor having miscarriages, it talks about long life and staying in health. The command in this Bible passage is to serve God and this includes participating wholeheartedly in kingdom advancement endeavours such as praying for souls to be saved and reaching out to lost souls.
As for financial breakthrough, giving is what you must do e.g giving to the course of God’s kingdom, giving to the poor and needy around you and also paying your tithes
Malachi 3: 10
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
If you want God to open the windows of Heaven in your favour then give.
Deut 8:18
18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
It is God that gives us the power to get wealth and He also owns all things including wealth ( Haggai 2: 8).
For every situation one is passing through, every breakthrough one desires, there is always a part for one to play but there is this one thing if done will result in a breakthrough in all areas of one’s life and it’s in Matthew 6: 33.
