Beware of the Company you keep (1)

Gang: Beware of the Company you keep II

Tale became concerned at the statement the head of the gang made. He felt like a heavy load was on his head, he desperately needed help. All along he thought these gang people were his friends, that he could just come and go anytime he wanted. This opened his eyes to see life in a different way.

Tale had this premonition that if he joined them in the robbery this time around, he might never make it alive. He also knew that if he didn’t listen to the gang leader, they will come after him and his family. what a trap.

People don’t normally see how deep and deadly things are until they are neck-deep into it. This applies to all manner of sin and not just about joining the occult. Those that lie start with small ones, then graduate to bigger ones, then move to kidnap and murder. Those that engage in sexual sin start little by little before they become professionals. Before people join devilish societies, there is no manual to that effect until they enter. Once they see how things are and try to escape, they become threatened with death.

If the devil gets hold of someone, he just doesn’t let the person go until the person is aggressive enough to seek the face of God who will deliver him.

Advice: From Proverbs 1: 10- 19

10 My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them.

11 If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul;
12 let’s swallow them alive, like the grave, and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
13 we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder;
14 cast lots with us; we will all share the loot”—
15 my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths;
16 for their feet rush into evil, they are swift to shed blood.
17 How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it!
18 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves!
19 Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it.

If you want to surrender to Jesus, take this salvation prayer.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today as a sinner, I surrender to you. Forgive me all my sins, wash me clean by your blood, and deliver me from the power of sin and death. I believe that you died for me and on the third day you rose again. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord, for delivering me from the power of sin and death. I am delivered, I am saved and now a child of God.
