God speaks: Beware of false prophets, some cage destinies

Beware of false prophets, some cage destinies.

In Matthew 7: 15- 20 we are asked to beware of false prophets. We are in the end times and one of the signs of end-time is false prophets. Some have various spiritual gifts but these gifts are not used to glorify God. That someone sees something that no one else knows about does not automatically make him a man of God. People, please don’t be deceived. Some might actually have been children of God but along the way they sold

out to the devil and remember that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11: 29 (NIV) puts it this way; for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. This means that despite their betrayal, they still have these gifts.

Fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, it is very necessary to examine yourself regularly. That someone performs signs and wonders or does mighty works does not automatically mean the person is a candidate of Heaven. That one is a preacher or deacon does not qualify one for Heaven.

You can imagine Paul, one of the great Apostle said in 1 Corinthians 9: 27 (KJV); But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Remember that people took apron and handkerchiefs that had touched Paul to give to those that were sick and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them (Acts 19: 12). He is the same person that says he has to keep his body under.

Still on prophets

Be humble enough to examine yourself and turn back to God if you are on the wrong path because Heaven is our goal. Unforgiveness is one of the reasons why strong believers miss Heaven. It creeps into their hearts and the devil makes it look like it’s nothing. We should be vigilant of the devices of the devil. When you see prophets who ask for money to perform on a miracle or the other, please run. In fact, it’s a giveaway. The gifts of God are free (Matthew 10 vs 7-8). There is no payment for anointing, miracles, breakthrough or deliverance.

Matthew 10: 7-8

Vs 7 – And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Vs 8 –Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

These people are just out to eat your money, some using it against their members, caging their destinies.

This results in people entering from one level of bondage to another. People, please stop looking for a prophet of God that would lay hands on you and pray for you while you can do it yourself. The Word of God says to work out your salvation. This is why it is important to have a relationship with God

Having a relationship with God

People that have a relationship with God know their God and that’s why they do exploits. They don’t need any prophet or anyone to lay hands on them. They know exactly what to do when times get tough, they know who to turn to.

These group of people didn’t always have it easy, they had to develop themselves through the word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit, obeying instructions, doing the will of God, etc.

The closer you are to God, the more the authority you exhibit on earth. All you need to do is walk with God. It all starts with baby steps then reaches the maturity level where one is filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3: 19)

There is nothing as fruitful as having a refreshing relationship with God. The prayers and miracles of the prophet may come and go but what you’ve built, the relationship you’ve built with God over years will remain solid because you know exactly what it took you to get there.

It is important you accept Jesus into your life if you haven’t and let Him be your personal Lord and Saviour. If you are in this category, join me in the salvation prayer.
