Divine Protection: How your walk with God is meant to be like

I have written about divine direction and obedience while walking with God and this post is all about divine protection.

hearing the voice of God is very important in our walk with God. It gives us access to all that God has for us when we obey His instructions. Example of such benefit is divine protection. When God leads you, protection comes in automatically. One is exempted from what others are dying from or crying over. He goes before you and makes the crooked way straight.

Divine protection is very important for anyone trying to fulfill God’s plan and purpose for his/ her life. So many people with great destinies are being tortured because they’ve left God’s protection. God is ever willing to protect and direct our steps but it’s our responsibility to accept this offer by doing what He tells us to do. He has given us the will power to choose between good and evil. God does not force any man. Whatever decision you make, be prepared to be rewarded or punished for it.

Man’s common sense

Proverbs 16: 25 says, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”. It’s repeated in Proverbs 14: 12.

This passage is about the natural reasoning of man. One might think through his “common sense” or knowledge about some areas that he/she is on the right path but the truth of it all is, no man can see the end of a thing from the beginning except God. He knows all things. Once you are working according to His plan, you receive the immunity of His protection.

When a man chooses God’s protection by surrendering his life to God, walking with God and obeying His every instruction in the journey of life,  one is close to fulfilling his/her glorious destiny in Christ.
