Godly: Is running after wealth okay? Part 3

How to get godly wealth.

What is the need of going after godly wealth when at the end of the day, it will all be left behind on earth? Solomon lamented, “vanity upon vanity, all is vanity”. Although wealth will be left on earth, there are still some spiritual transactions we can do on earth using our God-given wealth that will yield fruits in eternity. Some of such transactions are; giving to the poor/ needy, giving to the advancement of the kingdom of God on earth. It’s important not to forget the place of tithing.

How do we get godly wealth?

In the kingdom of God, there are rules to follow. The kingdom of God is orderly. We have to play our part before God can attend to us. My Father in the faith will say that any faith that leaves God totally responsible is an irresponsible faith. Unfortunately, this happens a lot in the body of Christ. This may also be the reason why people are not getting answers. Obedience is an important key in kingdom principles. Whatever God tells you to do both in His Word and during your quiet time, do it.

Some Examples

1. i) For you to receive your healing, you first need to be a child of God and secondly, have faith. The level of your faith determines how fast or how slow you receive your healing. It is according to your faith. There are testimonies everywhere and there is NO impossible case with God.

ii). If you want things to keep working for you, i.e God adding things to you without you even asking then seek the kingdom of God first, soul-winning, kingdom advancement prayer, (Matthew 6:33) etc.

iii). If you want to access godly wealth and you don’t tithe, you have not yet started. When you tithe on your money, you are acknowledging that you’ve seen what He has given you. The silver is His and the gold is His (Haggai 2: 8).

To access godly wealth

1. i) Be a tither, this is the foundation
2. ii) Give towards the advancement of God’s kingdom on earth. God only places His wealth in the hands of those He knows will utilize it well.

iii) Give to the needy.

While doing this, let it be done with a cheerful heart, not grudgingly because God loves a cheerful giver. Also, you don’t need to announce it to the world ‘cos if you do so, that’s where your reward will end (Matthew 6: 2).

Finally, remember that godly wealth has eternal benefits.
